Green Tour Spotlight No.2: 3 Prong Power

posted by marissalamagna on Apr 8th, 2009 at 1:19 pm

  • 3Prong Power converts standard Toyota Priuses into Plug In Hybrid Electric vehicles (PHEVs)
  • We're working on high capacity Lithium Iron Phosphate battery system, 30-40 mile range per charge with zero gasoline.
  • Also a medium capacity Lithium battery system, 15-20 mile range
  • A 10% federal tax credit is now available for PHEV conversions.
  • Over 1,000,000 Priuses have been sold worldwide.   A significant percentage of them in the state of California, especially the bay area.  Many blocks in Berekely have multiple Priuses
  • We occupy the service area of a former cadillac/VW dealership.
