Open to students (k-12) in Oakland schools, RE-CREATE is a recycled art competition and exhibition that invites students to create artwork using discarded or reused materials and to compete for prizes. Practice the 4Rs - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Rot (Compost) to meet Oakland's zero waste goal. This program is sponsored by the City of Oakland, Public Works Agency in honor of America Recycles Day. All entries due by November 11th.
