East Bay Express
The East Bay Express is the East Bay Area's most trusted alternative newsweekly and website. From our authoritative cover stories; to our in-depth local reporting, arts and dining coverage; to the area's most comprehensive weekly calendar; the East Bay Express is this vibrant region's leading independent voice. From the international populations that make Oakland and Richmond so dynamic, to the ideological diversity that separates Berkeley from Walnut Creek, our readers are united by their love of a region that is second to nowhere in beauty, livability, intellectual firepower, and cosmopolitan charm. Every week, the Express provides the only medium dedicated exclusively to them.

We're pulling out all the stops for this year's Best of the East Bay Party, and one of the most exciting additions to the event is our Gear Head Garage in the upper level of the Museum's parking garage. In addition to live engine demonstrations by Godspeed, a Harley Davidson exhibit, and a tattoo parlor, we'll be lining the walls with local art to fit the theme of the garage.
Art submissions may include paintings, prints, silk-screens and photos of tattoos, pin-up girls, rock posters, album cover art, and more. Use your imagination!
The deadline for submissions is Friday, July 10. Please submit art samples to: firstname.lastname@example.org
